• Your city name
• Your message/one-liner
• Timestamp of creation

We do not collect precise location data or personal identifying information beyond what you voluntarily provide.

2. IP Address Usage

Your IP address is used temporarily for rate limiting purposes only. We do not store IP addresses long-term or associate them with your postcards.

3. Report Submissions

When you report a postcard, we store:

• A salted hash of your IP address (for abuse prevention)
• Your browser's user agent string
• The report reason and timestamp

Report data is retained only in a rolling 1,000 most recent reports and is automatically deleted as new reports are submitted. We do not store raw IP addresses with reports.

4. Public Display

Your postcards (city and message) are displayed publicly on our platform. Anyone can view them through the website or share links.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics tools (like Plausible) that do not track individuals across sites. We do not use invasive tracking technologies.

5. Data Retention

Postcards are retained until you request removal or we determine they violate our guidelines. Rate limiting data is ephemeral and expires automatically.
